Cross cutting
Shot reverse shot -  Used in coversation to create a visable believable conversation.

• Charcater... other charcter... back to first character
 
Eyeline match - A way to see what the character is seeing (Point of view)
Character.. What they're looking at.. Back to character. 

Match on action - To create an invisable illusion and versimilitude
• Charcter moves (Wide shot) Charcter still moves (Mid Shot) Charcter Still moving(Close up)
 
Ellipsis - A scene which is put together only showing the important parts

Insert shot - Wide shot to a close up shot


Non Continuity
Flashback - Thinking back into the past

Montage - A series of shots used to shorten down the story
